today marks the last day of work at firmenich. yes, my last day! schools reopening. well, you can say that my life is sad cos i only haf like half a day to enjoy on friday, but if i were to speak positively, i can say.. qianru has been GAINFULLY EMPLOYED!! *talks like government officials*

knwing that my last day was drawing closer and closer, this week, everything sentence starts with ‘last’.
like you know, usually we’ll walk along this wheww-super-long-stretch of road to go to the common eatery to buy lunch. when we walk along that stretch of road, its usually super sunny, super hot and windy too! why is there wind?? cos the huge vehicles will zoom past us with huge momentum, dragging with them layers and layers of air that causes some ‘uplifting of skirts’. hahhaa. thats why, smart girls like me WEAR JEANS!! hahha. wanna ‘uprooot’ my skirt???? WAIT LONG LONG!! *thinks too much*
no lar jus kiddingg! so this week, tues, and wed, my tots were like ‘oh no. my last time walking here. i gotta enjoy the artificially induced wind!! enjoy the sun!! enjoy the fooood!’
so saddening.
then go back to the lab, wear the lab coat also marchiam ‘oh no.. one of my last time wearing firmenich lab coats!!! *tearsss* ‘
then keep raw mat samples also ‘oh my! last time last time!! better keep properly! =( ‘
all the ‘my last time’. haha i guess u all are properly more concerned abt ur ‘first time’-s instead.
JUST KIDDING. i mean, first time can mean alot of things rite. like first time eating FRIED RICE??? or, first time taking rupiah coins as sg coins??
that was LAME! phews.
so ytd to prepare for my mighty Last Day, i baked brownies. wenta zack’s place to bake. he’s very kindness man!! let me use his oven. and he was very nice and hospitable. gotta thank him big time. haha ytd thr was a baking disaster. i wanted to bake brownies. but his baking tray was super huge. too huge to make brownies. in fact, the brownie mix that lay on the tray was barely 1.4cm thick. like brownie biscuito lo. so his bro suggested stacking the brownies together.
and yes, we did it! zack sponsored his newly opened nutella for me to use as cement to glu up the separate pieces. phews! super high sugar content.

and today was soo soo soo busy! thr was filing, thr was experiments, there were samples to keep. i felt a bit overwhelmed. and i haf to search for my missing labcoat. thing is, i brought my personal labcoat to work and decided to get the company to help me wash. but my labcoat doesnt haf the firmenich logo and i guess it was thrown away. oops! aiya okay lar, i dumb lar. =P hee!
but at 4.30, i couldnt do it animore! i cant do it!
i hurriedly ran to the pantry to heat up the brownies. and gave them to my colleagues. then i was back in time to keep one pair of samples. happy 
my supervisor said that i haf done well in my job and asked me to consider coming back for vacation job nex time! =) i feel quite happy cos i think i corked up alot of experiment readings. hengs she duno, man!

i love the common canteen’s food. i like the minced meat noodles, ipoh hor fun, chicken cutlet rice, herbal chicken soup, fried noodles, dragonfruit juice, and most importantly, YONG TAU FOO! *
i am SO GONNA GO BACK TO EAT IT
why did i suddenly talk abt food?? haha was talking abt farewell stuff right
oh and my lab supervisor-attach, called winnie, said thank you to me.
althou it is a simple thank you, i felt really happy. she said i haf been of great help to the lab. its really nice to know. cos i felt i am just screwing things over and over again.
oh and u know, i wanted to give the brownies to the Safety Uncle as well as the Moustache Uncle (i haf no idea how to address them) but i wenta the production area and couldnt find them =(
